The Christmas 2024 event is the current event that contains Christmas themed skins and was released alongside PCX, and the Springtrap and Rosemary reworks. It lasted from December 22nd, 2024, to January 1st, 2025, and is the 2nd large-scale event for the game.

Update Contents

During the event, the Lobby was updated to have a new jolly look, as well as adding a new song to the radio. In rounds, large Presents were added that could either give a Christmas skin or 10 Coins.

14 Monsters gained Christmas skins during the update, with those being:

Skins are obtained by collecting a gift box that spawns at a set location on each map, with the exception of Baldi's Elf skin, which is awarded to players for free upon joining the event, similarly to Uncle Samsonite's Pumpkin skin. These gift boxes are client sided to prevent stealing, and can be collected by monsters.

Alternatively, the Christmas event skins were buyable with coins for the duration of the event (except Niloticus, Vita Mimic & PCX).

Skins


Vapor turns into a snowman with the bones near the bottom of him being replaced by whisp like snow, his hand also becomes snow with sticks for fingers, he has a carrot nose, and has a top-hat with a blue rim. This skin also has custom effects for Vapor's smoke, turning it frost blue.


Rosemary has turned into a gingerbread cookie, with glowing white eyes, a smile and bowtie made of frosting, and three candy buttons. Her lack of arms have been altered to resembles bites or fractures in the cookie.


The Fogborn has dressed up as a Nutcracker doll, with the only ordinary parts of him exposed being his eyes and teeth. He is completely encapsulated within the wooden puppet, which has a tall black hat, a white moustache, and a red-and-white millitary uniform.


EXE has dressed up as Krampus, and wears a set of grey clothing with large cuffs. He has a tattered apron on his chest, hoists a bucket (presumably) on his back, and wears a pair of long, blade-like horns on his head.

This skin is a reference to EXE's design in the holiday-themed song for the cancelled Vs. Sonic.EXE FNF Mod, Slaybells.


Baldi now has a more elf like appearance, with an elf hat, a candy cane instead of a ruler (presumably), and peppermint buttons on his shirt. He also has elf shoes.

This skin is obtained for free upon joining the game during the event.


"Uncle Samsonite" now dresses at Santa Claus, he has green bright eyes, A Christmas hat with tiny tress on it, he also now has a white beard, a red coat that goes all the way down to his feet with Peppermint on the sides of his chest and a mistletoe , Wears Black shoes, a brown cape, and a sack that seems to have Candy canes, a Tiny Fuwatti with Fogborn's Nutcracker hat on him, an axe, Some Gingerbread and other objects!


Springtrap is now a more saturated green, and now has fur, eyebrows and slightly yellow eyes. He also now wears a white fur trimmed red jacket along a broad buckled belt. This skin references The Grinch, a popular children's Christmas story by Dr. Seuss.

This skin is exclusive to presents during the event, and cannot be bought in the shop for coins.


The Forest king now dress as Mrs. Claus, His hair turns white with a mistletoe on it, his hands turning into branches with Christmas lights on them and his right hands has a mitten hanging out, A Christmas hat with wooden horns stabbing into them with Christmas lights on them, his Crown with lights, A Red coat with white going down the middle, A necklace with a button on him! This skin has Small red Particles falling down of him


WYST becomes a large present monster with his face coming out of the present, and teeth coming out of the top of it. He also wears elf shoes, his arms turn into Christmas lights, his eyes turn blue and yellow, and Christmas wreaths hang on his wrists. Inside the gift box, hard to see is actually Fuwatti, peeking out. There is also some cookies, a candy cane, Slayer PCX's scarf, and a skeleton hand.


Niloticus now dons reindeer horns, with christmas trees instead of spines on his back. He also has two swords stuck in him, one in his stomach and one in his back. An interesting thing about this skin is that the texture seems a little fluffier than most Niloticus skins.


Vita Mimic is now a deep green, with red sclerae. He now has a Santa hat, with a beard to go along with it. He has Christmas Lights and bows strung up around his torso, and his wrists and his neck don wreaths. His right arm and right leg now have white balls on them. This skin takes inspiration from Zanta, a character from the popular webseries Eddsworld.

This skin is exclusive to presents during the event, and cannot be bought in the shop for coins.


Fuwatti is now a small Christmas Tree with stumps for legs, branches for arms and red ornaments for eyes. The trunk of the tree is caved in to make way for his mouth, and his teeth are substituted with wood, yet are still sharpened greatly. He has tree branches for arms, in relation to Hallow Fuwatti. He also has red tinsel wrapped around the tree, and a star on top. This star will likely glow in game.


Inkfell now resembles 2015 krampus. He has a red and white shirt and a red hood, with his face replaced by 2015 krampus' own face. Chains coil around his arms and torso, his legs are coated in matted fur, and his tail ends in a sharp barb instead of a trident-like point.


PCX Now wears a gray and white fur scarf around his neck. Which is actually one of the tails of Miles 'Tails' Prower. His glove's have white fur and the cuffs are now elbow length along with being green, and the rings are now red. Along with green knee high boots which have white fur at the brim. The rings on these boots are also red. This outfit is in reference to Xenophanes/Grimbo's' outfit in the song 'Slaybells' in the Friday Night Funkin' mod Vs. Sonic.EXE.

Trivia

  • As of now, this event is the biggest update in Pillar Chase 2.
  • MX and Ao Oni were the only monsters that didn't receive a christmas skin for Christmas 2024.
    • In MX's case, this was likely due to him always getting a new skin every update in the past couple of months.
    • In Ao Oni's case, he got the Cito Oni skin.
