Gorefield is an upcoming Monster for Pillar Chase 2. He is a monstrous version of Garfield who torments his 'owner' Jon on a daily basis, killing anybody he doesn't like or who dares get close to Jon. He is featured in a series of artworks by William Burke, and is the main antagonist in Lumpy Touch's Youtube series Garfield Gameboy'd.

Form 1 (Default)

Gorefield’s default form is an altered version of Garfield, being an overweight green cat with pale green cartoony eyes, a distraught expression, and elongated deformation in his face. He also sports two wounds, on the tip of his ear, and at the end of his tail, revealing some bone.

Form 2 (Beast)

Gorefield’s “Beast” form mostly retains his face, though his pupils are rolled up and he has a large smile full of dull yellow teeth. His body has almost fully transformed, being more of an undistinguishable mass than a cat anymore. The front of its body is split open to reveal some kind of black mass underneath its green fur, and its hands have deformed to become large claws. These claws have their fingers made of the same black mass, and somewhat shaped like sickles.

Form 3 (Spider)

Gorefield’s “Spider” form mostly retains his face like the other forms, though his pupils are much smaller, and he bears a wide grin full of razor-sharp yellow teeth. His entire body is more arachnid-like, with massive legs made out of some kind of black mass holding him up. Nothing else of this model has been shown from the render.

Gameplay

There is currently little to no information on what Gorefield will do in game. However, it has been confirmed that he will be able to switch between his three forms at will.

Trivia

• Gorefield's model was made by Browser43211alt.
• Gorefield has his own subreddit dubbed r/imsorryjon showing many versions of him.
• Gorefield's design was originally orange, like the original Garfield, but was later changed due to potential legal issues.
  • Gorefield's design changing to green is a reference to Garfield Gameboy'd, a series of videos made by Lumpy Touch.
• Blade has stated that Gorefield will have a very small amount of skins on release due to his ability to change his form during gameplay.
• Gorefield is arguably the strongest monster (upcoming & in-game) when it comes to lore, even stronger than Uncle Samsonite.
• With his two additional forms, it's theorized that his Beast form will be slow and his Spider form will be fast.
• Gorefield will possibly be the second monster to have an alternate playable form and the first one to have 3 playable forms that completely changes the moveset and the model.
  • The first monster to have an alternate playable form that changes the moveset and the model is The Stricken .
• Gorefield is the first monster to (technically) share a name with another monster. Both him and EXE have a "Beast" form.
