PCX (formerly known as Sonic.EXE or Pillar X) is the sixteenth monster added to Pillar Chase 2. He is TheBladeNinja's own take on "Sonic.EXE", a demonic version of Sonic the Hedgehog with godlike powers who enjoys tormenting the souls of Sonic's friends as well as toying with whoever plays his game in general. Sonic.EXE is the main antagonist of the creepypasta by the same name which started a trend of many subsequent Sonic creepypastas, EXEs and other general horror works. He is currently owned by JoeDoughBoi. PCX costs 1666 coins in the shop. He was released on December 22, 2024, during the Christmas 2024 event, making him the last monster to be released during the year of 2024.
Appearance
PCX is an almost-identical copy of the original Sonic the Hedgehog with his iconic white gloves, blue fur, tan chest and arms. However, PCX sports a menacing grin filled with crooked, yellow teeth, as well as orange glowing pupils instead of regular eyes, with the visible flesh of his sockets in the corners of his eyes. Streaks of blood creep from his eyes, some of which splattering onto his chest, similar to tears. In addition, he has blood present on his fingers. He also has slight whiskers. His cuffs and socks are black, and instead of the usual red, PCX's shoes are yellow. He also wears inhibitor rings on his gloves and shoes similarly to Shadow.
Gameplay
PCX has 35 Stamina, 28 Sprint Speed, and deals 20 DMG per hit, making him tied with Niloticus on being the fastest monsters in the game. While PCX has low damage and stamina, his speed and abilities make up for it by allowing him to essentially never end a chase. His abilities are Found You, You Can't Run and Jump.

When one survivor remains, the survivor and PCX will automatically be taken to PCX's world, where the survivor will need to escape by traversing through obstacles to reach the giant red ring at the end of the course. While in PCX's world, both the survivor and PCX will be much faster, but the survivor's stamina drain will remain the same while PCX will be able to float very fast without draining stamina, but PCX will spawn further back, giving time for the survivor to escape. If the survivor manages to escape PCX's world, they will be sent back to the map they were on and not take any damage. If PCX makes contact with the player, he will say "I AM GOD!" before swiping his hands at the player and instantly killing them, regardless of their current HP. |

When pressing 1, PCX will become mostly invisible, showing a faint, dark cloud with eyes and highlighting all survivors for 4 seconds. Some ambience will also play when PCX is near a player. During the ability, PCX will have an increased movement speed of 44 and will be able to fly up by using Q key. PCX can end the ability early by pressing 1 again. Otherwise, after 6 seconds this move will automatically end.
When he exits the ability, PCX will reappear and swipe forward. If PCX catches a player, he will do 25 DMG, stunning the player and causing PCX to point and laugh as the player gets up from the floor, giving them time to run away. This ability has a duration of 6 seconds with a 16 second cooldown. |

When pressing 2, PCX will break his inhibitor rings off his wrists and ankles as he begins to fly forward in the direction your camera is facing, speeding up as the ability goes on. During this, PCX can turn slowly while it's active, but if PCX runs into a wall, this ability will abruptly end. If PCX catches a player, PCX will knock them over for 25 DMG and shout "I AM GOD!" before lunging at them, inflicting an additional 25 DMG for a total of 50 DMG overall. - PCX was originally named Sonic.EXE in game but was changed due to the developers wanting to avoid any issues with Sega.
- Multiple names were considered for PCX, being PC2.X, PC.X, X, Pillar-X and PC2X.
- When he was called Sonic.EXE, he was originally going to look exactly like his in-game appearance with red-dotted eyes, blood on his gloves, a bloody chest, and red shoes. However, BladeNinja wanted to make a more original variant.[1]
- Multiple names were considered for PCX, being PC2.X, PC.X, X, Pillar-X and PC2X.
- His scrapped passive, You Can't Run, is named after the second stage from the original creepypasta/game.
- Likewise, the name of Found You, his first ability, is a reference to Sonic.EXE's quote when he first encounters Knuckles in the aforementioned level.
- Contrary to popular belief, PCX is an original character designed for Pillar Chase 2 and does not come from any previous Sonic.EXE variants.
- At 1666 coins, PCX is currently the most expensive monster in the game, beating the previous record-holders MX, and The Forest King.
- Before the Black Friday 2024 event, MX and The Forest King were the most expensive monsters, costing 1985 coins.
- PCX’s tendency to laugh after hitting someone was most likely incorporated because he is known to play with his victims and loves to see them suffer before he inevitably kills them.
- PCX holds the record for the most amount of reworks, having a grand total of 9 reworks including ones that were only in testing.
- PCX's intro animation is currently the longest in the game, at about 8 seconds.
- PCX's kill animation is a reference to how X kills Dave (Knuckles) in the Sonic.EXE remake.

This makes PCX the currently only monster to have music in one of their sounds (not counting their chase theme). For some reason he doesn’t have this sound in his Thorn skin. Also, his Decay skin has the American version of the Sonic CD game over in the kill sound.
- The names of both of PCX's vessels/souls are Dylan and Printzo, named after his voice actors. (semi-official fact, mutually agreed upon by both voice actors, no comment by Blade.)
