The Joy of Creation (shortened to TJOC) is one of the playable maps in Pillar Chase 2. Based off its name, it is obviously a reference to the FNAF fan-game of the same title. This map was released alongside 4 others when the game had first released, on April 27th, 2024.
Appearance[]
The map is based off of the first playable level in The Joy of Creation: Reborn. It is a simple map, consisting of hallways and rooms containing items.
The Joy Of Creation Map was changed by Bladeninja on May 25 2024, in this change, some areas were removed, objectives were moved and were reduced to a lower number and more pathways were added.
Objectives[]
Memories delivered (0/6)[]
Memories are different objects that you have to collect. Collecting a memory itself wont give you any coins, but there will be Pinky Jr's alongside blue bins hanging around the map that you have to put memories in. Giving a memory to Pinky Jr will give you coins. Below are locations of memories.
- A Freddy poster can be found near the Top left pile of Trash, inside a little passage.
- Near the Bottom left of the map, in the room with the singular bookshelf, Kratos's axe can be found on the side of the bookshelf.
- Near the top right of the map, there is a room with a Mike Wazowski mug sitting on the table.
- Clementine's Hat can be found at the Bottom left of the map, on a table down the hallway near a Fuwatti.
- Slenderman's Page can be found in the Top left room, below the Freddy poster room.
- Garfield's Donut is found in a room near the center of the map.
Previously, there were 2 additional memories: Sonic's Ring and a Shotgun.
- Sonic's Ring could be found in the room perpendicular to the bottom hallway.
- The Shotgun could be found near the room Slenderman's Page is found, sitting on a table.
As of the Jeffery Woods update, Sonic's Ring and the Shotgun have been removed.
Clean up trash (0/6)[]
- On the Top left of the map, close to a bookshelf near the Freddy poster.
- On the Top right of the map, close to the Mike Wazowski mug room.
- On the Bottom right, 2 piles of trash can be found close to each other, one on the end of the hallway, and the other on the passage near the end of the hallway.
- Near the center of the map, close to some lockers and near a Fuwatti.
- Near the center of the map, on the close end of a hallway near the other locker room.
Strategies[]
Monsters[]
- The square shape of the map with open perimeters means looping can be done very easily. Use your abilities to your advantage to avoid this.
- This map is very, very dark, likely the darkest in the entire game. Monsters such as Vita Mimic, The Fogborn, and EXE will heavily benefit from this, as their abilities rely on players seeing them (or in EXE's case, his traps). However, all monsters can benefit from darkness.
- This map has many long straightaways, but also many offshoots and hallways, particularly in the corners of the map. Chase monsters such as WYST and Springtrap can benefit from this layout.
- This map has objectives mainly located in dead ends or one-entrance rooms. As a result, survivors who are attempting to collect the objectives are more vulnerable than those not.
Survivors[]
- The many hallways of this map can allow you to escape monsters easier.
- The Slenderman Page can be collected through the wall, allowing you to collect it without becoming vulnerable.
- Most of the "collect object" objectives exist on the outer layer of the map, allowing a simple square pattern capable of collecting most (if not all, depending on deviation) of them.
- While initially one would think to collect the trash first, its placement is generally more open and vulnerable than objects.
- While the darkness of the map is crushing, even the regular flashlight is still effective in piercing it, so it may be advisable to purchase one beforehand or pray you find one first.
Memories Quotes[]
Trivia[]
- Kratos's Axe is accidentally misspelled. It is supposed to be Kratos' Axe.
